Credit cooperatives

Know your members. Prove your records.

A credit cooperative runs on two things: knowing exactly who its members are, and records nobody can quietly change. Panta gives you both today: verified member identity with consent on file, dues and fees that collect themselves, payments on one card, and books your auditor can check against a signed record.

The member ledger your auditor doesn't have to take on faith.

  • Identity you can stand behind

Members enrol once, with consent recorded at enrolment. One person is recognised across cooperatives without their national ID number ever being stored. The member card and app carry that identity everywhere.
  • Dues and fees, collected without chasing

Issue dues as bills: paid instantly when the balance covers them, collected automatically from the next top-up when it doesn't. Every collection is a signed record with the label on it.
  • Every centavo movement, signed

Payments, top-ups, and collections land on an append-only record the moment they happen. Nobody edits it after the fact, including us. That's the audit posture a credit cooperative needs.
  • The store and the counter, included

If your cooperative also sells goods or services, the counter point-of-sale and the member store run on the same card and record.
  • Savings and loans: the honest answer

Loan and savings account servicing is on the roadmap, deliberately sequenced behind the cooperative authority relationship and legal counsel. We won't ship credit-operations features ahead of the rules that govern them. What we build today is the identity and record foundation they'll stand on.

Credit cooperative questions, answered honestly

No, and we'd rather tell you that plainly than sell it to you early. Credit operations are regulated (CDA Memorandum Circular 2024-07 governs credit services operations), and we sequence those features behind the authority relationship and counsel. What runs today: member identity, dues and fee collection, payments, the store, and the verified record everything else will build on.

See the record your auditor would see.

We'll walk you through enrolment with consent, a dues bill collecting itself, and the signed trail behind every movement, live on the running system.

Signing up takes about ten minutes. Find your cooperative by name, check the details we already hold from the government register, and upload three documents. A person reviews every application before anything goes live.
